DressX launches digital collection with Facebook parent Meta

Digital fashion provider DressX has unveiled a new collaborative collection with Instagram operator Meta, which will launch via the social media brand’s Avatars Store.

A selection of DressX 3D outfits will be available for purchase and wear by customers’ avatars across the meta-platforms including Instagram, Facebook and Messenger.

“As one of the early creators of the digital fashion industry and with a wealth of experience creating digital wardrobes for the Metaverse, DressX is proud to partner with Meta and give people around the world the power to express their personality through a new, disruptive tool to express,” said Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenove, co-founders of DressX. “Fashion is a universal visual language and we are honored to give infinite possibilities to people who create avatars on Metas platforms to express themselves in the digital world.”

The announcement follows the launch of Meta’s Avatars Store, which went online in June and is already collaborating with brands such as Balenciaga, Prada and Thom Browne for collections available for purchase on the site.

As the company announced, the range will be expanded over time to include new collections from both traditional and digital fashion brands.

DressX collections are offered periodically in the Avatars Store.
