FC Volendam will talk tomorrow with the two supporters who were suddenly in the dressing room last Friday. The duo came back after the 2-1 home defeat against TOP Oss.
According to a spokesperson for the club, it concerns two acquaintances who are part of the Hekside Mafia, the fanatical supporters of FC Volendam. One of them would have just returned after being banned from stadiums for a long time. “We want to talk to hear their side of the story.”
Stadium ban
FC Volendam has mapped out all events after the final whistle from referee Joey Kooij to see what went wrong with security. It has not yet been decided whether the two will be banned from FC Volendam matches. “It is still too early for the exact consequences of their action.”
The fanatical supporters ensured that the referee interrupted the game for a short time in the first half, because the assistant referee was pelted with plastic glasses of beer.
