Dynamo Dresden gave the right answer to the recent defeat in Essen and extended their lead in the 3rd football league with their seventh win of the season.
The Saxons won 2-1 (1-1) against Halleschen FC on Wednesday evening and are now four points ahead of their first pursuer, SSV Ulm, at the top.
Jahn Regensburg is third after a 2-0 (1-0) against Waldhof Mannheim. Preußen Münster, which lost to Bayern Munich in the DFB Cup last week, won 4-0 (2-0) against Erzgebirge Aue and jumped to twelfth place. Rot-Weiss Essen, victorious against Dresden three days earlier, lost 0:4 (0:2) at SpVgg Unterhaching – all four goals were scored by Matthias Fetsch (28th, 45th + 1, 57th, 89th .).
Dresden fell behind due to Dominic Baumann (7th), but then demonstrated comeback qualities. Dennis Borkowski (45th + 1) shortly before the break and former HFC professional Tom Zimmerschied (51st) a few minutes later scored the victory. In Münster’s win, Malik Batmaz excelled with a hat-trick (34′, 51′, 69′).
