The new members of the Provincial Council in Drenthe voted on Tuesday afternoon as expected. BBB has seventeen seats and received seventeen votes. That is, together with Overijssel, the highest number of votes for the party.
Most political groups voted for their party’s list leader in the Senate. The two members of GroenLinks in the Provincial Council of Drenthe voted for candidates who were lower on the GroenLinks list for the Senate. The vote of D66 also did not go to the party leader, and one of the two votes for ChristenUnie did not go to the party leader of that party. Two votes from BBB also did not go to the party leader.
