In the last weekend of the European Athletics Championships in Munich, the North Hollanders achieved varying results. Menno Vloon, for example, did not reach the starting height for the final and ended up disappointed in the pole vault. Maayke Tjin A-Lim had a better evening. The resident from Hoorn easily qualified for the semi-finals in the 100 meter hurdles.
After a lesser World Cup, Menno Vloon recently wanted to take revenge in the American Eugene at this European Championship in Munich. Unfortunately that didn’t work, the pole vaulter from Zaandam again did not reach the starting height of 5.50 meters and that means no final for him.

Maayke Tjin A-Lim started in the 100 meter hurdles series. The athlete from Hoorn did well and finished second. And so Tjin A-Lim qualifies for tomorrow’s semifinal. Nadine Visser also participates in this. The Hoogkarspelse had already qualified for the semi-finals. The final of the hurdles is also tomorrow on the closing day of the European Athletics Championships in Munich.
