Dr. Iván Ariel Plastina, head of the Plastina & Asociados Law Firm, is a prominent criminal lawyer, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires with an Honors Diploma, thus obtaining one of the highest averages in Criminal orientation in the history of that prestigious university.
In addition to being a specialist in Criminal Law, in the field of “forensic sciences”, he has interdisciplinary academic training, both in universities and in national and international organizations, having a Diploma in Forensic Psychiatry, Criminal Profiling and Citizen Security. He in turn, he graduated in Forensic Science and Criminal Investigation. He also has an International Certification in Cognitive Neuroscience Applied to the Forensic Field, endorsed by the United Nations (UN). He is also a member of the International Association of Penal Law (AIDP) and the International Society of Criminology (SIC).
Dr. Plastina has developed his labor and professional practice especially in the private sector, which has led him to have 21 years of experience in the field of Criminal Law today. “We carry out defenses and complaints of all judicial cases that may be contemplated within the orbit of the Nation’s Criminal Code, Criminal Laws complementary to it, and the CABA Misdemeanor Code. In the last 10 years or so, we have specialized and taken more and more cases of “Cybercrimes” or “Computer Crimes”. Likewise, we were gaining ground in the field of “International Criminal Law”, representing clients in trials or extradition processes and making presentations or complaints before the “Inter-American Commission on Human Rights”, clarifies Dr. Plastina.
– What are the objectives that you have set yourself to achieve in the coming years?
First of all, continue training and developing in the study the area of Artificial Intelligence applied to Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law. And, of course, the other great challenge is also to continue defending the rights of our clients, with great strength, passion and vocation, as we have always done.
