Dozens of tractors block insulation company Rockwool Roermond
Dozens of tractors block the main entrance of insulation company Rockwool in Roermond on Saturday. The activists disagree with the government’s nitrogen policy. Earlier this week, the company in Limburg was already preparing for possible actions by farmers.
Rockwool is number 1 in the top 100 ammonia emitters in the Netherlands. The rest of the ammonia list, published earlier this year by Minister Christianne van der Wal (Nature and Nitrogen), almost exclusively includes livestock farms.
