Apartment complex Den Heerendonck on Heerendonklaan in Den Bosch was partially evacuated on Sunday evening after a fire raged in the container space of the complex. This happened around a quarter past eleven. About thirty people had to leave the apartment complex as a precaution.
Smoke billowed into the complex. After the container was extinguished, the fire brigade blew the smoke out of the building with a large fan.
Suspect
The police have arrested someone. He is suspected of starting the fire. The suspect was taken to the police station and will be heard on Monday morning. It is said to be a resident of the complex who has been causing nuisance for some time.
After the fire department checked several apartments for carbon monoxide and made sure everything was safe, the complex was released and the residents were allowed to return home.
