The cosmetics retailer Douglas GmbH closed the first quarter of the 2023/24 financial year with a solid increase in sales. This emerges from preliminary figures that the company published on Monday.

Accordingly, group sales in the period from October to December reached around 1.56 billion euros, which corresponded to an increase of 8.3 percent compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Like-for-like sales increased by 7.5 percent.

The retailer is “on a very good track” to achieve its goal of increasing annual sales to five billion euros by 2026, said van der Laan.
