Double four-gender from Zedelgem celebrates Mother’s Day together

Diana, Karien, Marlies, Maura and Franne form a double quartet and take the opportunity to all celebrate Mother’s Day together. Presents, works of art and kisses are lavishly handed out.

“I’m glad I’m there, because many years have passed. That’s a great party. In the past, when I was a child, that was not celebrated,” says Diana. She is the mother of Karien, grandmother of Marlies and great-grandmother of Maura and Franne.

“I also always found it very nice that the children had made something in school. And that gift was then hidden and it was kept secret. That was an exciting period. I am a kindergarten teacher myself, so I have a lot of Mother’s Day gifts together made with the kids,” adds Karien.
