The biathlete lay on the couch after the Olympics and looked at Netflix.

To China totally disgusted Dorothea Wierer announced at the Zhangjiakou biathlon stadium a couple of weeks ago that he would go home for the first time to a restaurant in Italy for gin tonic. Then he eats and goes shopping.

Wierer confirmed in Kontiolahti on Saturday that the plan was in place.

He praised the taste of the classic drink.

– Tastes, tastes. That’s when it tasted really good, Wierer said.

The Italian said he was really relieved when he got home. He will never go to China again.

– I was very tired after the Olympics. I was just lying on the couch, eating and watching Netflix. I trained very little. It didn’t make sense to practice when I was so tired.

Wierer fired two fines in the 7.5 km race in Kontiolahti on Saturday and was ranked 17th in the winning German race. Denise Herrmann accumulated 52.4 seconds.

– There seems to be no energy. But I have to fight because I can still win the starting cup.

Wierer leads the co-start cup 2/4 after the race. The winner will receive 10,000 euros and a crystal ball.

The world star has previously criticized Kontiolahti as the ugliest place on the World Cup tour because of the darkness and windiness.

On Saturday, during the quick race, the sun was shining, the wind did not interfere with the shooting and there was competition in the cold weather.

– Just in the morning I thought this was weird in Finland. Really nice, Wierer smiled.
