“Actually, my life is no longer manageable,” says Ten Cate with a laugh. He does a lot at the same time, namely a study, a side job and he is also busy with his company Vercate. From his student flat in Rotterdam, where emails are constantly coming in, he says that in the early stages of his company his focus was still on studying. “But now it’s completely turned around. Working on your own company is great fun, because you see your company and product grow. I started investing more and more time in it and my studies then became an afterthought.”
