“Don’t leave your animals in a hot car”: Bruges launches campaign

Two years ago, a dog died in the parking lot of AZ Sint-Jan. The temperature in a closed car can reach fifty degrees, even with open windows, and in the shade. And that is fatal for humans and animals. Bruges will issue a heat alert via social media and raise awareness among drivers with posters and bread bags. Anyone who sees an animal in distress can call the emergency services or the local police.
