‘Don’t go pitching again!’

Lieke van Lexmond is a bit done with RTL. The floating presenter of The Voice Senior has decided not to make any more program proposals with Peter van der Vorst for the time being.

She was so happy with the departure of Linda de Mol and Wendy van Dijk from RTL 4: Lieke van Lexmond. “I think it’s fantastic news, of course,” she said bluntly at the beginning of 2019. “I can’t deny that it’s wonderful that when you’re sitting on the couch watching and you’re eager to participate, that it’s very nice to have the space.”

Lieke is done with it

Lieke got a nice presentation job with The Voice Senior, but that’s about it. Now we don’t see her at all on the TV channel of program boss Peter van der Vorst. She has done her best, says the presenter in RTL Boulevard.

She says: “I’ve put forward ideas several times that I absolutely loved, that in the end didn’t get through at the last minute, so I don’t feel the need to do another pitch now.”

Traveling to Peru

Apparently, after all the fuss around Astro TV, RTL has had enough of vague programs and Lieke is now the victim of that. That is why she has completely devoted herself to her lunar calendar.

Lieke is currently on a moon trip through Peru. “A wonderful trip to hear a lot of stories from people who have been living there for generations with the power of the moon. People think it’s very normal there.”

To enjoy

No, the TV can be stolen Lieke for the time being. She only wants to focus on positive things. “I think it’s important to do things that challenge me and I love to share that information with people who enjoy it as much as I do.”
