Haven’t had much luck so far: Hertha’s Dong-jun Lee

Barely on the pitch, the year is already over for Dong-jun Lee (25)!
The nimble winger, who moved to Berlin from South Korea (Ulsan Hyundai) in January of this year, remains Hertha’s worst unlucky man. If he was back on the field for the first time in months in the friendly against Ludwigsfelde (5-0), he left lee after being substituted on (46th) at the end (88th) limping again and heavily bandaged off the pitch.

diagnosis: Ankle injury on the right ankle, the football year 2022 is over for the winger!
Again and again Lee – in his 305 days he only has four part-time assignments and a total of only 116 Hertha minutes! The renewed injury also hurts coaches Sandro Black (44): “He had just fought his way through. That is all the more bitter.”
The medical file Lee is getting longer and longer!
As soon as he arrived in Berlin, he tested positive for the corona virus (February). He then conceded an unfortunate tackle in training (April) and was out for a long time with a knee injury. In the summer training camp, the South Korean international (4 appearances) injured his adductor area in the first friendly and had to take a break again. Now he has celebrated his comeback and is back on hold.
2023 can only get better for Dong-jun Lee.
