‘Done with it, take your loss!’

Hélène Hendriks thinks that Gordon is really an incredible whiner who cannot deal with criticism at all. “Well, it didn’t work out, that’s it. Take your loss. It is all in the game.”

Gordon has had a two-week musical comeback and in that short period of time he has complained even more than he has sung out of tune. And that says something. Due to poor ticket sales (well, officially because of ‘the media’), Goor canceled his nine-part theater tour. Complaining and ranting, he also left Instagram again.

Bullshit

It’s incredible, says Johan Derksen at the table Today Inside. “The fact that he is canceling the theater tour because of the criticism is all nonsense, because setting up that theater tour takes a lot of energy and also a lot of money. You have to hire all kinds of people. This will only be stopped if there are no ticket sales.”

He continues: “I did that for six years and if there are no ticket sales, you have to add money. It didn’t work, that was the reason. Let him say that honestly. That’s no shame at all.”

Human

Gordon just needs to show some sportsmanship, Johan thinks. His colleague Hélène Hendriks responded: “Exactly, I think so too.”

Johan: “It has nothing to do with our criticism or with any criticism from anyone.”

Hélène: “In fact, I think he would come out better if he simply said: ‘Yes, it did not work out, it is a shame, but there is no other way.’ That is very human.”

‘Take your loss’

Wilfred has heard that some blame VI for Gordon’s failed comeback. “Bram Moszkowicz blames us for that.”

Johan: “He’s a bit resentful towards us, isn’t he?”

Hélène: “Gordon is a friend of his. He also indicated that. Only he knows what’s going on. You don’t have to make a fuss about that. It’s not fun, but it’s all in the game when you’re known. You also have the nice things about that, right? He can come anywhere to tell his story. Well, it didn’t work, that’s it. Take your loss.”

No more contact

Studio guest Aran Bade says that his program RTL Boulevard also no longer has contact with Gordon. “I really think he’s completely over it. I completely agree with you, Hélène. I do indeed think: put your hands in your own bosom. It’s really not good if you can’t collect like that.”

It’s always all or nothing with Gordon, says Aran. “He almost wanted to throw out another merchandise line, an underwear line. He wanted so much and had all kinds of ideas. Then I think: take it step by step.”

Drama queen

Gordon just needs to pull himself together for once, says Johan. “She’s just a drama queen.”

Aran: “Yes.”

Johan: “We regularly receive the whole of the Netherlands here and then we are not in a slump. He’s got to be a big boy someday. If you have a big mouth like us, then you have to be able to tolerate being punched in return.”
