18-year-old Trump granddaughter makes big golf debut

She loves playing golf just as much as the US President. Now Kai Trump, granddaughter of Donald Trump, can prove herself on the big stage.
She is young, ambitious and attracts attention not only because of her last name: Kai Trump will tee off for the first time at an LPGA Tour tournament in November. The 18-year-old granddaughter of US President Donald Trump has received a sponsor’s invitation to the high-class tournament “The Annika” at the Pelican Golf Club in Florida.
The event is one of the most important on the tour outside of the majors and comes with prize money of $3.25 million. The game will be played from November 13th to 16th.
In a statement, Kai Trump said her dream was always to compete with the best players in the world. This event will be an “incredible experience” and she is looking forward to meeting many of her role models and mentors and competing against them.

She is currently attending the Benjamin School in Florida. Starting next year, she will play for the Miami Hurricanes golf team. She has already competed in three American Junior Golf Association tournaments this season.
At the end of September she visited the Ryder Cup in Bethpage State Park on Long Island with her grandfather Donald Trump. Now the focus is on her own appearance.
According to Ricki Lasky, chief tour business and operations officer at the LPGA, Kai’s participation is intended to help bring golf to a new and especially younger audience. Kai Trump is followed by more than six million people on social media. Most recently, she launched her own clothing and lifestyle brand for young, sporty women.
