Former United States President Donald Trump has reaffirmed its intention to present its candidacy for the 2024 presidential elections on November 15ending any suggestion of a possible delay after the results of the mid-term elections.
The former president’s campaign adviser, Jason Miller, has stated this on the podcast of former Trump ideological adviser Steve Bannon, War Room, where he has stated that “It will be a very professional and very formal announcement”according to ‘The Hill’.
“President Trump is going to announce on Tuesday that will run for president. And it’s going to be a very professional and very elaborate announcement,” Miller said.
In recent days there had been speculation that Trump could delay the launch of his candidacy after the Republican Party has not harvested a “red wave” in the ‘midterms’ as many of its members predictedand after the most extreme candidates have generally received poor results in the elections.
However, the tycoon’s campaign adviser has stressed that the results of the mid-term elections do not have to affect the presentation of his candidacy for the Republican primaries, although he has acknowledged that he has suggested to Trump that he delay the announcement until after the second round in the race for the Senate in the state of Georgia, the aforementioned newspaper has reported.
The former US president announced last week that on November 15 intends to make “a big announcement” at his Mar-a-Lago Florida residencewhich will presumably be his decision to run for the White House again.
In doubt for Florida
The decision, however, has been questioned by some within the Republican Party, where the governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, has garnered support after his resounding victory against the Democratic candidate in last Tuesday’s elections.
The not-so-good expected results among Republicans in the ‘midterms’ have meant that within the organization some culprits like Trump are pointed outalthough so far the former president continues to garner great support from the grassroots.

On the other hand, Trump has submitted a lawsuit against the congressional committee that investigates the assault on the Capitol of January 6, 2021 to avoid having to testify before him and having to deliver documentation.
