Donald Trump is with the location in Washington, DC is not satisfied. “The museums in Washington, but also in the whole country, are basically the last remaining part of the ‘Woke’ movement,” he wrote on Tuesday (on Truth Social. “The Smithsonian Institution is out of control, there is only discussion about how terrible our country is how bad the slavery was and how little the oppressed, nothing about the future, nothing about the future.”
The Tirade comes for a week after the White House has announced that it will carry out a comprehensive review of the Smithsonian exhibitions and materials in order to “support a broader vision of excellence that emphasizes the historically accurate, inspiring and including representations of the American inheritance”.

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Pete Hegseth is working on restoring the names of Confederation personalities in military base points and even setting up Confederation monuments – including the “Reconciliation Monument” of the Confederation at the National Cemetery Arlington, which was demolished in 2022 after a cross -party military commission had described it as “from Grund to problematic”.
Hegseth justified the $ 10 million of tax money for the re -establishment of the monument with the argument that he appreciates history. “We recognize our story,” he told Fox News at the beginning of the month. “We don’t delete them. We don’t follow the Woke Lemmingen, who want to tear down statues.”
“We are proud of our history, as difficult as some chapters may have been,” added Hegseth.
Slavery is of course an important part of American history – but for some strange reason, Trump and his lackeys do not want to ride around on reality how “bad” it was, but rather spends out tax money to “appreciate” the traitors who fought for their preservation.
