Former US President Donald Trump expressed his displeasure with the pregnant Rihanna’s performance at the Super Bowl 2023 on the social app Truth Social. He wrote: “EPIC FAIL: Rihanna put on the worst halftime show in Super Bowl history without question. And that’s after she’s offended well over half of our nation, which is already in serious REJECTION, with her foul and offensive language. And so much for her ‘stylist’!”
Kodak Black and “Uncle Trump” vs. Rihanna
American-Haitian rapper Kodak Black appears to agree with Trump. He shared Trump’s statements with his followers on Instagram and wrote something like: “Uncle Trump says this shit is garbage!” – Which comes very close to approval. As a result, the 25-year-old received a lot of criticism and resentment from RiRi fans on social platforms. Most of them insulted Black in unequivocal terms that are not specified here.
Black and Trump have something in common: release from prison
Kodak Black and Donald Trump are believed to have been close since Trump commuted the rapper’s four-year sentence before leaving office in 2021. Since then, Kodak Black has not hesitated to show his enthusiasm for Trump. In October last year he said he wished “four more years with Trump in office”.
On Jan. 21, 2022, a year and a day after his release from USP Thompson Federal Penitentiary in Illinois, the South Florida rapper shared a video on Instagram reflecting on his past 365 days outside. He then thanked Trump in the post, who commuted Kodak’s sentence for gun possession as one of his last official acts this January. “I want to thank Trump, Donald Trump, the Honorable President. The Honorable DT I wouldn’t be here with you all now without him. With my family, my fans and friends. So everyone thanks this boy. He set me free.”
