Lawaited season finale has arrived. Tonight – starting at 21.25 on Rai 1 – Don Matteo 13 he takes leave of his audience with the tenth and last episode: Forgetting Matteo. A sufficiently explicit title to seal the final departure of Terence Hill in favor of the entry of Raoul Bova.

The tenth episode is dedicated to finding the answers to the questions that have remained pending during this new season. The most exposed is certainly Don Massimo (Raoul Bova). His arrival in Spoleto made us turn up our noses right away. The inhabitants of the Umbrian town were fond of Don Matteo (Terence Hill) and not at all ready to say goodbye, among other things, without any explanation.
Furthermore, Don Massimo does not have the confidence of the parishioners nor of that of the Carabinieri, who are convinced that it is hiding something. So they begin to investigate to understand what is hiding and discover strange movements and the dating of a woman. It is about Elena, a love of the past that the parish priest has already met in the last episode and who arrives in Spoleto to escape those who want to kill her.
As always, suspicion is a good excuse to doubt Don Massimo’s sincerity and the only one who believes in his good faith is Cecchini (Nino Frassica). The Marshal, then, finds himself involved in spite of him in a story that concerns him very closely: the organization of his wedding with Elisa (Pamela Villoresi). In reality, the man has no intention of getting married, but he is the victim of a misunderstanding.
Anna divided between Sergio and Lucio
When his partner asks him: “Are we getting married?”, Cecchini is secretly watching the football match. In the same instant of the fateful question, his team scores and the man exclaims: “Yes!”. The last episode of Don Matteo 13then, reserves obstacles a bit for all the protagonists. Among these there is Anna (Maria Chiara Giannetta), who finds himself on a crazy carousel. After finally done with the past, he metabolized his feelings for Marco (Maurizio Lastrico) and having found a balance, Lucio Valente (Thomas Santo) and Sergio La Cava (Dario Aita) return to Spoleto.
The first suggests that she leave Umbria for a special mission in Syria. The second is decided on take care of daughter Ines (Aurora Menenti). In the last period, however, it was Anna who took care of it. A new role in which she felt at ease, to the point of considering asking for her custody.
Now Olivieri is in crisis, torn between the dream of a mission in Syria and that of a future together with her old love, as well as a former betrothed. Marco takes care of adding doubts and questions. The PM is still engaged to Valentina (Emma Valenti), but is he really in love with her?

The happy ending of Anna and Marco
About Anna and Marcothe most popular couple of the entire series, after a whole season of questioning, in thelast episode of Don Matteo 13 we will finally witness a real twist. Or perhaps, to the long-awaited just ending. The captain and the prosecutor discuss Ines’ future following Sergio’s return.
In a few seconds the conversation degenerates, until when Anna, after having repressed her feelings for too long, declares her love to Marco and … discovers she is reciprocated. Will it be the start of a new chapter?
