Legwear specialist Kunert Fashion AG is getting a new CEO earlier than planned. On Thursday, the Immenstadt-based company announced that on March 1st Dominik Stracke would also take over the operative management in addition to his previous duties as head of marketing and sales.
“The successes achieved in the market are also accelerating the planned change in company management,” explained the clothing supplier in a statement. Stracke replaces the previous CEO Martin Roy, who, according to Kunert, had been “mainly responsible for the realignment” since joining the company a year ago. Roy will also “continue to support the company as a consultant on strategic issues,” according to a statement.
The retiring boss looked back with satisfaction on his time at Kunert: “We made many crucial decisions in the past year, with the result that we will more than double our profits in 2022, despite a more than unfavorable starting position – after many years, they are back in seven figures — and put the company on solid footing after many difficult years,” Roy said in a statement.
