NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets is toying with speeding up his recovery from his Achilles tendon tear by listening to the sounds of dolphins making love.
Give up? That’s out of the question for Aaron Rodgers. Rather, the 39-year-old is trying everything to get fit as quickly as possible after tearing his Achilles tendon. To do this, he now wants to resort to a strange method.
The NFL superstar explains on the “Pat McAfee Show” that he is currently examining various options to speed up his healing. One option could be dolphins having sex.
“There is a notion that some of the sounds dolphins make during lovemaking actually have a healing effect on the body,” says Rodgers. “Maybe I’ll do some of that.”
The New York Jets’ star quarterback has already undergone surgery after tearing his Achilles tendon on the first day of the game.
“My healing process begins now!” wrote the 39-year-old in an Instagram message. He also posted a picture that shows him in the hospital – smiling.
After the “darkest night” he is now extremely combative and brushes aside speculation about an abrupt end to his career.

His motivation: doubters and pessimists. “Give me the doubts, give me the schedules, give me all the things you think can, should or will happen. Because all I need is that one little extra percent of motivation,” he says in the “Pat McAfee Show”.
Even the boldest doubters probably didn’t expect dolphin sex to accelerate the healing process. Or should every method, no matter how extraordinary, have been considered, especially in the Rodgers case?
After all, the two-time Super Bowl champion has already relied on medical alternatives in the past. So before his commitment to the Jets, he went on a dark retreat and spent four days in pure darkness. In complete isolation, he thought about his future – which ultimately led him to New York.
He also relied on ayahuasca, a hallucinogenic potion that was originally used by indigenous people of the Amazon basin in spiritual rituals to expand consciousness.
This time he doesn’t need potion or darkness. This time dolphins are supposed to do it during sex.
