Dolf Jansen meets Yvon Jaspers, finds her totally inauthentic

Dolf Jansen does not click well with Yvon Jaspers. They have met once and he does not find the Farmer Wants Woman star to be authentic at all. “She thinks a lot about how she comes across.”

It is important for Dolf Jansen to convey a message with his cabaret, even when it comes to the ‘farmer crisis’. “You are not making satire to please everyone. You’re doing that because you have something to say and you use satire to convey that,” he explains in the podcast. 30 Minutes Raw.

“Did you see her?”

Although Yvon deliberately hardly speaks out about the nitrogen problem, the Farmer Searches for Woman star is of course on the side of the farmers emotionally. “If you look at all the discussions I have with the agricultural sector, it’s not because I hate farmers or Yvon Jaspers, but because I think things are wrong in that sector,” says Dolf.

Presenter Ruud de Wild then asks him: “Have you ever seen her, Yvon?”

Dolf: “I think I saw Yvon Jaspers in that TV program you were once on. Yes, a long time ago.”

Negative about Yvon

Actually, Dolf has not had a good experience with Yvon. “I also had her at Zomerspijkers, about ten years ago, when she was really very famous. And, how would I put it… That was not my best two hours of radio.”

Ruud: “Why did that happen?”

Dolf: “Because I think she already…”

Ruud: “Who had a handkerchief on her mirror?”

Persona

Dolf then: “Well, she had a persona that she propagated and that is a kind of fresh – then, perhaps still – young woman who loves men who are in the clay. And that’s okay, but I didn’t have enough contact with that.”

According to him, Yvon is not very authentic. “I think like other famous people, she thought too much about how she came across and didn’t just go and talk about it for two hours.”
