An apparently free-roaming dog knocked over and bit a two-year-old in Falkenhagen (Märkisch-Oderland).
The girl was injured in the face and head, as the police in Frankfurt (Oder) announced on Wednesday.
Employees of the responsible public order office brought the animal to an animal shelter after the incident on Tuesday. The owner is being investigated for dangerous bodily harm.
