Does Roman Abramovich own more yachts than known?

Roman Abramovich apparently owns more yachts than previously known. According to the Financial Times, the owner of Chelsea from the English Premier League owns five yachts with a total value of almost one billion dollars.

These include the “Solaris” and the “Eclipse”, which together are said to be worth around 900 million dollars. The Russian oligarch is also the owner of the “Halo” and the “Garcon”, which are said to cost an estimated $38 million.

The British newspaper also reports that Abramovich owns the “Sussurro”, which is currently anchored in the port of La Ciotat in southern France. The “Financial Times” put the value of this ship at eleven million dollars.

Aimless odysseys in the Mediterranean

The seemingly aimless odyssey of Abramovich’s yachts in the Mediterranean and some minor incidents had recently made headlines.

Abramovich himself may also have been the target of a poison attack. The Wall Street Journal reported this in February, citing informed circles.

Abramovich, who has decided to sell his Chelsea shares, and two Ukrainian negotiators had “symptoms of suspected poisoning” after a meeting in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv.

A source close to Abramovich told the Wall Street Journal it was unclear who might be behind the incident. Western experts could not have provided an explanation for the symptoms either.

According to media reports, Abramovich is involved in the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

“Unfortunately, that actually happened”

According to the report, the three men suffered from red eyes, painful tearing and peeling skin on their faces and hands.

The symptoms would then have decreased again. “Unfortunately, that actually happened,” said the informed source of the news agency “AFP”.

According to the newspaper, the sources of the “Wall Street Journal” suspect hardliners in Moscow. They wanted to sabotage talks between Russia and Ukraine to end the Ukraine war.
