For weeks, runners-up Borussia Dortmund has been associated with German international David Raum. BVB is said to have a concrete interest in the left-back from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, but has not yet been able to make a transfer for financial reasons. According to the latest media reports, FC Bayern could now straddle the Dortmund team.
“Bild” football boss Christian Falk reported on Sunday that the German series champion had a specific interest in the 24-year-old, who had made a steep rise in the left-back position in recent years.
Although the Munich team is outstanding in this position with Alphonso Davies, the right alternative at the highest level is missing. Omar Richards recently left FC Bayern for England, while head coach Julian Nagelsmann continues to plan Lucas Hernández as a central defender.
