Dodenhof makes its working time models more flexible and, among other things, introduces the 4-day week in sales.
In response to an employee survey from last year, the shopping center operator from Posthausen is relying on new benefits, Dodenhof announced on Friday. Freedom and flexibility in the workplace are particularly important.
“We are very grateful to have employees whose assessment and commitment we can always rely on,” said Managing Director Ralph Dodenhof.
The 4-day week was first tested as a pilot project for sales staff in the technical area. The employees could decide whether they wanted to split their full-time position over four or five days. After a positive result, this option is now also available for all “sales-related areas” from fashion, sports, lifestyle, technology and gastronomy.
In addition, the weekly working time was reduced from 39 to 38 hours per week with the same salary for all staff. The entire workforce gets two additional vacation days, travel allowances and free rental bicycles for the commute from Ottersberg train station to the Posthausen site.
