Documentary: Hermann Göring was a Nazi

The results are described in Yle’s History document.

Both Hermann Göring and Albert Göring surrendered to the Americans. Only Albert was released. Hermann took his own life. Yle

Notorious Goingsurname comes to mind HermannMarshal of the Nazi Kingdom and one of the highest leaders of the National Socialist Party. Göring’s brothers in the documentary historian François Kersaudy says that Hermann Göring actually raised Adolf Hitler to power. Göring also contributed to the establishment of the first concentration camps and created a secret police force, the Gestapo, which has not been left in the history books for its good deeds.

There were still others, such as Hermann’s little brother Albert. This helped Jews and other victims of Nazism, as the History document says. Surprisingly, in some cases he received support from his brother Hermann. Attempts are being made to open up this seemingly contradictory logic in the program.

– That’s amazing. One key to understanding Hermann Göring’s personality has been obtained from psychiatrists – Göring was in psychiatric care twice in 15 years. Both experts came to the same conclusion, which is confusing, the author François Guéroult says in a documentary.

– According to them, Hermann was warm to his loved ones, but completely insensitive to other people. He was very emotional and protective of his relatives and loved ones, but otherwise completely ruthless.

This became apparent, among other things, when, during the war, in the hope of German victory, he ruthlessly destroyed cities and slaughtered civilians. But at the same time that Brother Albert asked Hermann for help, he also gave it.

“But not to sympathize with the rescued, but to please his little brother,” Guéroult emphasizes.

Hermann Göring and his Albert brother had a different father, although it was not public information. Yle

Aware of his brother’s protection and taking advantage of it, Albert also knew how to manipulate his sibling. Albert appealed to the ego and pride of the man at the height of his honor and power.

– Albert said, “Hermann, you’re an incredibly great man,” the historian said William H. Burke gives an example of how Albert made Hermann bow to his will.

At the same time, Albert got Hermann to help himself save some Jews and other Nazi victims, even though Hermann was one of the main culprits in the systematic genocide of the Jews.

Six million Jews were murdered during the Holocaust.
