Docaposte announces the creation of a new data and AI center with 400 experts

On March 10, 2022, Docaposte, a subsidiary of La Poste, announcement the creation of a new data and AI center. The management of this entity is entrusted to Guillaume Leboucher, founder and CEO of Openvalue, a startup acquired by the La Poste group in April 2021.

As stated in the Docaposte press release, this new center brings together more than 400 experts. Among them, we find in particular data analysts, data scientists, or even data engineers. Due to its importance, this new division automatically propels Docaposte to the title “a major player in data and AI in France”.

Thanks to the complementary expertise of Docaposte, Openvalue and Probayes, the digital subsidiary of the La Poste group now has one of the most comprehensive offers on the market across the entire value chain of data and AI: design and architecture of the global solution, transformation of data to adapt them to AI algorithms and creation of user interfaces.

According to the company, this new center aims to promote the sharing of know-how and experience of the experts who make it up. The 400 experts are able to work in 4 specific areas of artificial intelligence: machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
