Do your Germany concerts have to be postponed?

Madonna was admitted to intensive care on Saturday (June 24) unconscious. The reason, according to Guy Oseary, her manager, was a bacterial infection. Meanwhile, German fans are wondering what will become of the tour dates that are due in Cologne and Berlin in November. Guy Oseary said in a statement on Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday that all of Madonna’s dates had to be postponed – including the tour.

“Her health is improving but she is still receiving medical care. A full recovery is expected,” Oseary continued.

The German dates (November 15 and 16 in Cologne, November 28 and 29 in Berlin) are also affected, as various media reports. Whether there will be catch-up dates at all and when they will take place is not yet known according to the current status.

Here is an overview of the actual tour dates for Germany:

  • Wed. 15.11.2023 Cologne Lanxess Arena (must be postponed)
  • Thursday 11/16/2023 Cologne Lanxess Arena – additional date (must be postponed)
  • Tuesday, November 28, 2023 Berlin Mercedes-Benz Arena (must be postponed)
  • Wed. 29.11.2023 Berlin Mercedes-Benz Arena – additional date (must be postponed)

According to insiders, the decision to postpone the tour for the time being was inevitable. A person she knows explained that Madonna believed that she was “indomitable”. She always puts her career ahead of her own health. She didn’t pay attention to her health while preparing for her upcoming “Celebration” tour, rehearsing for it six days a week. The serious effects of the bacterial infection were now a “wake-up call” for her.
