On Friday, a surprising moment was seen in the Only Life program, when Jyrki69’s Mariko Pajalahti and Tidjân Ba, known from the band Kwan, stepped onto the stage.
Kwan was founded in 2000 and during their career they released four studio albums. Their most famous hits were Diamonds and Tainted Love.

Tidjân tells Iltalehte that Jyrki69 asked the duo to join. They know each other from before.
– Jyrki appeared on our album back in the day, so it had to be reciprocated now.
However, the man does not yet promise Kwan’s return. Kwan has appeared in public in 2014 when they participated in Yle’s We Want More program.
– What would you say to that now? Everything is possible. If the people cry for bread, we will give it, he carves.

Performing with Mariko awakened old memories in the man. He praises his bandmate’s charisma and singing skills.
– The same energy still works between us. Mariko is really smart and creative. With motherhood, she has found inner peace, Tidjân describes.

After Kwan, the man himself has worked as a teacher for an English-speaking class and performed in a few musicals. In his free time, Tidjân says that he is a hard-working athlete who enjoys both the gym and the tennis court.
– Parachuting has yet to be done, I could try that.
