Sorry to all you boy band fans, XL5 are not getting back together like many of their contemporaries.
– Will never return. We had a couple of good songs and it was great at the time. We were young and flexible then. Hey, do we sound like a boy band? Mika Ikonen asks as the others nod.
– We are old and old, Pete Tolonen smirk.
The theme of the evening’s TTK broadcast is couple exchange week and ysäri. As a guest judge on the broadcast is Ressu Redford.
The members of XL5 are still on good terms with each other and they see each other from time to time, all three ie Mika, Pete and Jake Jokivalli they say.
Mika has been an influence in the band Kästyoläiset for more than twenty years.
– That is, parties and constant partying, that is, in the name of work, Mika, or Micahas they used to say, grins.
Jarno Juuti
The three say they keep in touch with each other from time to time, most of them still live in Hyvinkää.
– We were very close together. Now we have a Whatsapp group and we try to see each other at least once a year, says Mika.
