Tom Waes single again
In 2004 Mieke and Tom got to know each other. They both stood at the gate of their children’s school. Did they instantly fall in love when they saw each other standing there? According to Mike, absolutely not. “I thought Tom was just a superficial, introverted guy,” she previously told Hey everyone about their meeting. “My friends thought he was an incredible guest back then. Only I didn’t see it.”

Earlier Tom told Hey everyone that his previous relationship ended because he was so busy: “At the time, my marriage mostly broke down because I was always away. Because I had so many obligations and was often away for recordings, we didn’t do enough things together. When our marriage fell apart, it was a bomb.”
