De Nieuwe Kolk in Assen celebrated its tenth anniversary today with a special brunch.
The two hundred visitors took place at a catwalk at De Nieuwe Kolk. The catwalk also serves as a long dining table. “They get a briefcase with good food and drinks and all kinds of artists walk over the table for an hour and a half to celebrate that we exist ten years,” says Hanneke Bruggeman of De Nieuwe Kolk.
A total of ten acts for both young and older visitors do the rounds on the catwalk. Musicians Erwin Java and Erwin Nyhoff, poet Joost Omen and Koekiemonster from Sesame Street, among others, made their appearance on the catwalk. Also on display were dancers and magicians.
