We will see Djoao Lobles for the first time at the European Athletics Championships. The athlete from Den Helder ran the limit on the 800 meters in Lokeren today. The 21-year-old Lobles crossed the finish line in 1:45.66 and thus also improves his personal best.
Lobles became Dutch indoor champion in the 800 meters for the past two years. In March he appeared to be the fastest man in the discipline again, but Lobles was disqualified for cutting the corner. As a result, the title went to Samuel Chapple.
The European Indoor Championships will be held in Munich from 15 to 21 August.
