DJ Tiësto from Breda announced the birth of his son Viggo Tiësto Verwest on social media on Saturday evening. The 53-year-old Tijs Verwest, as the artist is called, has become a father for the second time.
According to the DJ, the little one was born ‘earlier than expected’, but he and his mother Annika are still doing well.
“As you can imagine, it is impossible for me to leave their side now,” Tiësto apologizes. The DJ was supposed to perform in the Ayu Dayclub on Saturday, but this cannot take place due to the birth of his son.

“I will miss you today, but I’ll be back on September 3”, promises the DJ. “Sorry to everyone who wanted to party with me this weekend. Can’t wait to make it up to you!”
Tijs and Annika got married in 2019 and already had a child together, daughter Viola Margreet. She was born in November 2020.
