DIY: this is how you make this party sleeve sweater yourself

STITCHES USED

  • Rib 1/1
  • Intermediate increases: On the left needle pick up the thread joining the st just worked with the next st and K twisted by inserting the needle in the back thread.
  • Simple r override: Slip 1 st as if to K, knit the next st and pass the slipped sts over the knitted sts.

10 cm stocking st: 10 sts and 13 rows on needle no 8

  1. Cast on 56-60-64-68-74 sts on needle 7 and knit rib 1/1 for 6 cm. Switch to row 8 in stocking st and dec 1 st on 1st row. There are then 55-59-63-67-73 sts.
  2. When piece measures 37 cm place a marker on each side for armholes. Cast off for shoulders when piece measures 56-57-58-59-60 cm: (a) 1x 4 then every other 2 rows 2x 4 and 1x 5 sts, (b) 1x 4, then every 2 rows 1x 4 sts , (c) 1x 5 then every 2 rounds 3x 5 tr, (d) 1x 5 then every 2 rounds 1x 5 tr, (e) 1x 6 then every 2 rounds 2x 6 tr.
  3. For the neck when piece measures 58-59-60-61-62 cm cast off the middle 10-11-11 -11-11 sts, then complete each part separately and cast off 6 sts on the neck 2 rows higher 1x.

front

  1. Work front piece in the same way as back piece.
  2. For the neck when piece measures 53-54-55-56-57 cm cast off the middle 10-11-11-11-11 sts, then complete each part separately and at the neck edge every 2 rows 1x 3,1x 2 and 1x cast off 1 st.
  3. Cast off for shoulders when piece measures 56-57-58-59-60 cm: (a) 1x 4, then every 2 rounds 2x 4 and 1x 5 sts, (b) 1x 4, then every 2 rounds 1x 4 and 5 dc 2x, (c) 1x 5, then 5 dc every 2 rows 3x, (d) 1x 5, then every 2 row 1x 5 and 2x 6 dc, (e) 1x 6, then every 2 row 2x 6 and 1x 7 pcs.

Sleeves

  1. Cast on 28-30-32-34-36 sts on needle 7 and knit rib 1/1 for 7 cm.
  2. Switch to row 8 in stocking st.
  3. On the 3rd round increase 6 intermediate. divide as follows:
  4. Work 4-5-6-4-5 sts, *1 inc in between, knit 4-4-4-5-5 sts*, repeat 6x from * to *, work remaining sts.
  5. There are then 34-36-38-40-42 sts.
  6. Repeat these 6 inc 6 more times. one above the other.
  7. There are then 70-72-74-76-78 sts.
  8. At 27 cm 6 less. divide as follows:
  9. Work 6-7-8-7-8 sts, *K 2 tog, work 9-9-9- 10-10 sts*, repeat 6x from * to *, work remaining sts on row.
  10. There are then 64-66-68-70-72 sts.
  11. Repeat this 6 times less. above each other and alternate simple yarn over and work 2 sts tog as follows: (a) 2x every 4 rows, then 2x every 6 rows. (b, c) 3 times every 4 rows then 1x 6 rows up, (d, e) 4 times every 4 rows
  12. When piece measures 47-46.5-45.5-44.5-42.5 cm, cast off the remaining 40-42-44-46-48 sts.

Collar

  1. Close the shoulder seams.
  2. Pick up from RS on circular needle size 8 54-56- 56-56-56 sts round the neck.
  3. Knit 9 cm stocking st and then cast off all sts smoothly.

Finish

  1. Place the sleeves on the body between the markings and close all seams. Tuck the collar in and fasten it to the inside of the work.
