Water jumper Christina Wassen took twelfth place in the tower final of the World Championships in Budapest. The 23-year-old didn’t find her way into the competition from the start and ended up with a disappointing 253.80 points.
As expected, the two Chinese women Chen Yuxi (417.25) and Quan Hongchan (416.95) secured gold and silver, bronze went to Pandelela Pamg from Malaysia (338.85).
Wassen’s Berlin club colleague Pauline Pfeif (20) was eliminated in the semifinals in 16th place.
