The starting point is interesting: the son of a fisherman has the possibility of entering the most prestigious Sunni university. That is, the point of view of the film that has him as hero and victim allows the viewer to travel through a world full of symbols and ideas. There is, below, an interesting topic: the meaning of religion in a world where it seems to be just a tool for the exercise of social and economic power. What makes this journey through the landscape of Islam is that we care about the characters: contradictory beings, flesh and blood who communicate to the viewer, from pure fiction, a forceful truth.
