Everything needs maintenance, including the roads and tunnels in our city. Next week it will be the turn of the Europa Tunnel and the Australia Road for a makeover.

The tunnel box will be serviced from Monday 16 to Friday 20 October. Work on the asphalt on the Australia Road will take place from Friday, October 20 at 8:00 PM until Monday, October 23 at 6:00 AM.
Europatunnel
The Europatunnel (tunnel box) will be closed in both directions on those days. You will be diverted via the top of the tunnel, the Europaweg. This creates extra crowds and a longer travel time. Take this into account or choose a different route.
Australia Road
After the closure of the Europatunnel, part of the Australia Road will be closed on Friday evening, October 20 at 8:00 PM. From the intersection with Van Aalstlaan to Nieuwe Hoefweg, work on the asphalt will continue until 6 a.m. on Monday, October 23. Also take diversions and extra travel time into account.
