Former soccer star Ezequiel Lavezzi has gotten into bad problems, he says the Spanish newspaper Marca.
It all started on December 20, when Lavezzi was hospitalized in Punta del Este, Uruguay. Initially, media reports suggested that he had been stabbed. According to Marca, the details have now become more detailed.
Lavezzi had fallen out with his brother. An Argentinian journalist Estefi Berardi according to Lavezzi, at the time of the incident, he suffered from severe anxiety, heard voices inside his head and was afraid that someone was persecuting him.
Lavezzi had taken the scissors in his hand and threatened to harm himself. His brother tried to take the scissors away, but Lavezzi managed to stab himself with the scissors.
– His brother tried to calm Lavezzi down. It wasn’t that he was fighting with his brother. His brother tried to take control of the situation, but “Pocho” is no small guy. Then the situation happened and he broke his collarbone.
Lavezzi was flown to Buenos Aires for treatment. However, the medical staff was put in danger.
– When they arrived at the airport, Lavezzi had a very similar event. He was a danger to the staff, so they sedated him and put him to sleep. He began to shout praises to God, a criminal lawyer Lucas Bertero told.
The Lavezzi family tried to cover up the events by telling the media a different story. According to the Clarin news site Lavezzi’s family claimed the former football star fell while changing a light bulb.
