Distributions of the TecDAX shares: The German tech elite wants to pay these dividends

• Communications service provider ahead in terms of returns
• Increases in sales and profitability
• Growth sectors with rather low returns

For the DAX companies, 2022 is a year of record dividends and shareholders of the companies listed in the MDAX can also look forward to good dividends in 2022. This applies to investors in TecDAX shares with regard to dividends.

Generous returns are expected by investors in the communications industry

The highest dividends in the TecDAX are paid out by communications service providers: the dividend yield for Telefonica Germany is 7.16 percent for 2021. The telecommunications company will pay out a dividend of EUR 0.18 per bond.
With a return of 6.44 percent, freenet is also at the forefront and pays out 1.57 euros per share to investors. The communications provider has been characterized by stability and high dividends for years. The date of the Annual General Meeting in early May will certainly attract some dividend hunters with the prospect of a high dividend yield.
Deutsche Telekom increases the dividend compared to the previous year and pays 0.64 euros per share to the shareholders. The return is 3.71 percent.

Medium returns

Varta AG was able to increase both its sales and its EBITDA again in 2021. According to the secondary value magazine, the company expects sales to increase in the current year and is close to a billion, despite possible delivery problems due to the global political situation. The technology company is expected to pay a dividend of EUR 2.48 per share for 2021 (2.76 percent).
The Walldorf group SAP (2.46 percent at 2.45 euros), the Austrian technology group S&T (2.03 percent at 0.35 euros), the transmission mast operator Vantage Towers (1.91 percent at 0.62 euros) also pour good returns ), United Internet (1.61 percent at EUR 0.5) and the medical technology manufacturer Siemens Healthineers (1.69 percent at EUR 0.95).
Despite growth efforts and expected investments, the semiconductor group Siltronic (3.26 percent, EUR 2.00 per share), Software AG (2.43 percent, EUR 0.76 per share) and the IT service provider CANCOM (1, 79 percent, 0.75 euros per share) solid dividends.

Low returns expected

The medical technician Carl Zeiss Meditec and the IT group Bechtle will pay a low dividend yield of 0.67 and 1.09 percent in 2021. With a return of 0.37 percent and EUR 1.46 per share, Sartorius AG also makes a lower profit distribution.
The largest semiconductor manufacturer in Germany, Infineon (EUR 0.30 per share), the software company CompuGroup (EUR 0.5 per share), the technology group Jenoptik (EUR 0.25 per share), and 1&1 AG are yielding less than one percent (0.26 percent), the biofuel manufacturer VERBIO (0.28 percent at EUR 0.20) and the CVD plant manufacturer AIXTRON (EUR 0.11 per share).
The radiation and medical technology company Eckert & Ziegler wants to increase the dividend to EUR 0.50 per share for 2021, as it successfully closed the 2021 financial year with sales of EUR 180.4 million (previous year EUR 176.1 million). and for 2022, according to our own forecasts, will exceed the 200 million euro mark. The return is 0.87 percent.
At its annual general meeting on May 12, the pioneer of digital transformation Nemetschek will probably decide to increase the dividend by 30 percent to EUR 0.39 (0.44 percent yield) at the suggestion of the supervisory board. The industry giant is thus following its dividend policy course of the last 9 years and is increasing the payout to a total of over 45.0 million euros. The group had significantly increased its sales and profitability in 2021.

Little or no dividend expected

Some companies in the TecDAX refrain from paying dividends to investors for various reasons: while companies such as EVOTEC or TeamViewer reinvest their profits from 2021, the results of some companies from 2021 do not indicate a dividend.
Shares from solar and wind energy are among the most sought-after values on the stock market. Nordex shares in particular are popular with investors. The wind power company was able to increase its sales in the reporting year, but this is offset by very high costs for raw materials and freight, so that the margin remains low. However, the company is optimistic about 2022 and wants to increase profitability to 8 percent in the medium term. Analysts also see great growth potential in the industry.
QIAGEN, MorphoSys, Nagarro and SUSE also do not pay dividends.
Overall, the dividend calendar for 2022 promises some interesting dates for dividend hunters, especially in May and June. Whether the above dividends will be paid out in this amount will be decided at the general meetings.
