The United Nations has detected a distress signal from Tonga. The balance of the massive volcanic eruption also remains unclear on Tuesday. The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) says there has been no contact with the Ha’apai, an island group that is part of Tonga, since the eruption of the volcano Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Ha’ apai saturday.
