From January 6, De Lijn buses in the Kortrijk region – as in the other Flemish regions – will run much more along the main axes and enter residential areas less. This has the advantage that the buses can run more frequently (they ‘lose’ less time in a residential area) but that they still maintain the ambition to stop at a sufficiently feasible distance from a residential area.
There will also be a new and better evening service, with buses until 11 p.m. and even until midnight on Friday evenings and Saturday evenings. This is the case, among other things, on the line Station – Xpo – AZ Groeninge and also to the sub-municipalities of Bellegem, Rollegem, Aalbeke and Marke and on the lines to Kuurne, Zwevegem, Harelbeke, Desselgem, Wevelgem, Menen and Moorsele.
