Disney will suspend the release and distribution of all its films in Russian cinemas due to Russia’s operation in Ukraine, according to statement companies.
“Due to the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis, we are suspending film releases in Russia, including Pixar’s upcoming I’m Blushing,” the company said in a statement.
They promised in the future to make a decision on the resumption of rental, depending on the situation. Disney also said that given the scale of the migrant crisis that erupted due to the war, the company is working with NGOs to help refugees.
