The series’ story begins ten years after Obi-Wan Kenobi’s “greatest defeat”: the “fall and doom of his best friend and Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker, who turned into the evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.” Description of Disney+.

Ewan McGregor plays the main role of the Jedi Master, while Hayden Christensen takes on the role of Darth Vader. The two slipped back into well-known roles. Commenting on the reunion, McGregor said: “We just had a great time. We got to do scenes together as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker and it was amazing to work with him again.”

The trailer begins with Kenobi saying, “The fight is over. We lost.” But in addition to all the doom, the clip also offers a positive outlook: “Between darkness and defeat, hope survives,” it is written in golden letters at the end.

The fans on YouTube react emotionally and are consistently happy about the approaching broadcast of the series: “No words, I cried out of nostalgia… to see Obi Wan after so many years is unbelievable,” comments one user. Others are also close to tears: “II could cry with happiness. The series will be by far the best Star Wars series ever.”
