Discussion about scrapping guaranteed seats in water boards ends in the polder. Only ‘own’ seats for agriculture and nature

On Tuesday, the House of Representatives voted in favor of the proposal of members Laura Bromet (GroenLinks) and Tjeerd de Groot (D66) from Woudsend to democratize the water boards. The two wrote a law to remove the guaranteed seats for representatives of agriculture, nature and companies from the water board boards.
