Discus thrower Kristin Pudenz was once again beaten by Olympic champion Valarie Allman from the USA at the ISTAF.
While the Olympic and European runner-up from Potsdam threw 65.20 meters in the Berlin Olympic Stadium on Sunday, Allman threw the disc 70.06 meters.
The 27-year-old had already won the traditional athletics meeting last year and set an Istaf record of 71.16 meters. After a disappointing appearance at the World Championships, Pudenz recently won the silver medal at the home European Championships in Munich with a personal best of 67.87 meters.
Shanice Craft from Mannheim came third in Berlin with 64.36 meters. Claudine Vita Neubrandenburg, third at the European Championships, took fifth place with 62.70 meters.
The former World Cup runner-up Nadine Müller finished her last competition in eighth place with 55.73 meters. The 36-year-old from Halle/Saale will in future concentrate on her professional career with the Federal Police.
