Eloi and Sònia, a mechanical engineer and a pediatric physiotherapist respectively, are a couple passionate about bikepacking who decided one day to leave everything behind to make their dreams come true. “The idea of discovering the world by bike had been on our minds for a long time & rdquor; assure, “and after having to be closed at home due to the pandemic, we decided that the time had come to make a decision. Did we want to drop everything so we could spend more time outdoors? The answer was yes.”
They wanted to cycle around the world, get to know new cultures and new countries, and they wanted to do it by following some of the best mountain routes. Thus, they decided to start in Latin America looking for the cultural contrast and the spectacularity of the Andean mountains. After crossing the Andes, Mexico and Guatemala, among other countries, these bikepackers find themselves back in Spanish territory, touring Andalusia, specifically the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Villas Natural Park.
